Holiday

Directions: Bella had a week's by the sea. She made a few notes every day. When she got back home, she wanted to write to her friend Tina about the holiday. Use Bella's notes to write the letter for her.

 

Saturday	Arrived late. Motorway—rain, rain, rain! To bed without supper.
Sunday	Quiet. Sounds and smells of sea—lovely. Around town. Small. Old mosque, Roman bridge.
Monday	Little boat to Treasure Island. Sudden storm. Sea sick. Island all trees and waterfalls. Wet!
Tuesday	Sunny again. Sea here deep, dangerous. No swimming. Shops. High prices.
Wednesday	Shops closed mid-day. Over hills on horseback. Windy, warm.
Thursday	On sand all day. Sunburned—oh dear. Sent picture postcards to all at home.
Friday	Night—restaurant. Expensive, but great meal. Dancing. Guitar players—noisy music. Back home tomorrow.
